There are many activities to suit all types of people from the adventerous to those who enjoy peace and quiet.
For those who want to explore Gower on horseback you can pony trek across wide open fields and beaches with www.parc-le-breos.co.uk or maybe a round of golf is more your style. www.explore-gower.co.uk/golf .
For the Historians there is our very own Castle at Oxwich which stands proud in grounds overlooking Oxwich Bay. The castle is now cared for by Cadw, the Welsh ancient monument body. In the next village of Penrice is Gowers largest castle which is situated in the grounds of Penrice Park. www.cadw.Wales.gov.uk .
A few miles away there is Parkmill Heritage Centre which demonstrates how the farming community came together at harvest time to produce flour. The mill has now been restored to working order, it has various craft shops within, for that perfect present. Ducks and swans swim freely along the mills watercourse and children can observe and learn all about the wildlife. www.gowerheritagecentre.co.uk
After a busy day exploring, playing or just relaxing the Oxwich Bay Hotel offers the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal. www.oxwichbayhotel.co.uk
